Sarah was born and raised in Winfield Kansas. She attended Knox College majoring in Biochemistry and Music and graduating in 1998. She then earned her Master’s in Biochemistry from Kansas State University before attending Kansas University Medical School. She completed Med/Peds residency at University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis Tennessee and spent an additional year as pediatric chief resident. She is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She has spent the last 13 years at Irwin Army Community Hospital in primary care. She enjoys preventive care at all ages. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her family, going to kids numerous activities, and cooking.
