Dr. Doug Hinkin is a graduate of Marymount College of Salina and the University of Kansas School of Medicine. After completing his residency in family medicine at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he served in the United States Air Force, at Ramstein, Germany before returning to Manhattan to begin his medical practice in 1984. Dr. Hinkin has served in many volunteer activities in Manhattan including the hospital board on 2 occasions and for many years has been a team physician for Kansas State Football and Women's Basketball. Dr. Hinkin and his wife Maureen have 4 grown children and 10 grandchildren. Dr. Hinkin has retired from Stonecreek Family Physicians. He is still very active in the community and serves as one of the Medical Directors for K+STAT Urgent Care.
