As part of her emphasis on wellness, Dr. Cunningham performs colonoscopy (colon cancer screening procedures). As an osteopathic physician, Dr. Cunningham performs OMT (osteopathic manipulation therapy) as a regular part of her practice, addressing neck and back pain, sinus congestion, and other issues. Dr. Cunningham also has 12 years of experience in advanced wound care and looks forward to addressing some wound care issues in her practice at Stonecreek as well.
Amy Cunningham, DO, comes to Manhattan from Neodesha, Kansas with her husband of 20 years, Jeff and their two boys, Elijah and Spenser. A 1998 grad of KU, she then attended the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2003 and completed a Rural Family Medicine Residency at the University of Minnesota. Upon completing residency, she and Jeff relocated to Jeff’s hometown of Neodesha, where she owned her own practice for nearly 13 years. Dr Cunningham’s personal passions including serving her church, KU basketball, baking, reading, exercising and spending time with her family. She has enjoyed working with the Aledade Kansas Accountable Care Organization since its inception and is looking forward to continuing to provide high quality patient care in her practice at Stonecreek.
